The latter's actually a good actor, just bad for that role. The former, however, is a total disgrace to the acting world.

Now, let's not worry about those two, since they're not gonna be in the movie. Robotech does not take place in the Robotech timeline, rather much further in the future, even past TSC.

In Macross, Almost all the character are Japaneses, includes Minmei that has China origen, but she was born on Japan in Yokohama...Hikaru and Misa are Japanese too.

In Robotech, Lisa and Rick are from USA, Lisa from New York and Rick from California... and Minmei from China.

Here are some suggestions. That chick out of High school musical as Minmei, that would me you can't have Efron because so soon after HSM, having those 2 would just look stupid. Orlando Bloom as Max Sterling (name like that, hes got to be english). For Roy Focker, the guy who plays Stokes in CSI. For Claudia, how asking Naomi Campbell if she wants to try acting. Better still, how about not at all. If they do make this movie, you know they are only going to have the budget to cast unknowns.

La actriz que interprete a Lisa debe ser muy, muy hermosa. hasta ahora la única actriz parecida físicamente a Lisa Hayes que he visto en Hollywood es Hilary Duff, de 22 años, la misma edad de Lisa cuando empezó la saga macross. Para Rick no hay otro mejor que Tom Welling, es lo más parecido a Hunter que he visto hasta ahora. Para Fokker me parece que Owen Wilson es el indicado, por físico y personalidad.
