i think the story is about Rowely looking after a friend called *Rumfee, who has broken his leg while partying near ediburgh. Rowley took *Rumfee to a hotel to get better, he went deleriouse and Rowely nearly had a fight with the angry land lady. Rowely made Rumfee a make shift crutch but his leg got worse, and eventualley broke off, by which time he had fallen unconcouse and didn't wake up for 3 days. here is my translation:

I take exception to that remark, sir. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, currently reside in West Texas, have never left the continent, yet I have always appreciated a wide variety of British comedies. When I was less than a year old, I was introduced to the great Benny Hill, and have never looked back.
