Hack: Increase the brightness of N82's screen.

you should hack your phone with 5$ (3.85euro) with helloox2 from official site and to have access in the C: you should use y-browser! it is tested by me to my 2 nokia n82

it worked perfect. But i make a donation and I download the original singed version of helloox2 from official site and I use y-browser and I did it. My 2 n82's brightness is great. The 3rd had already full brighness settings when I bough it before 3 years! But now if you turn the brightness from maximum to minimum and opposite theres no difference on the brightness but I dont care!

and rebout your phone

this works only on v20, not on the recent firmware. I did this hack to my N82 and I was so happy about it, then I upgraded my firmware, and it's gone. Should've done my homework first before doing the upgrade. Thanks a lot Nokia..thanks a lot..

Note that the file you need to delete on C:\Private\10202be9\Persists\ folder is not 102000c8c. The correct name is 10200c8b.

Then it works perfect!!! Essencial for any N82!!

I did this after 2 months of failing using the tutorial.

You need to check in 'persists' for 0200c8b (B not c) and delete it.

Then it works.

It like having a new phone, very sharp and clear.

You need all the hack progs like 'hellocarbide', Capson/off and Y-browser to get it to work (see the 'hiden' files etc.

see guys 1 st you have to install hellocarbide.

after that do not open hellocarbide open y-brower and minimize ybrower and open hellocarbide and there is option then select menu1 and select the yes and the open ybrower then u see private file

There's no need to use this on the N95, it's already got a good level of brightness.

If you do try it, it will only result in your screen becoming dimmer (atleast on the N95 8GB).

This was made only for the N82.
