the only unfortunate thing that still makes me a little upset with macs is the fact that you are stuck with technology that is always a few generations behind what is available in pc platforms. for example all of the available graphics cards are pretty old school in the mac world.
macs still use openGL the one true professionally accepted standard for editing and cgi work. and the reason they don't need the crazy whack nut cards is the lack of games or other live rendering software available for them. macs have available the quadra 4500 professional card for film editing and for cgi work. they need it since there cheaper cards trully leave something to be desired in high poly modeling performance and at live preview without pre-render for hd, 2K and 4K editing.

alright, your awesome, i've been trying to tell ppl that it doesn't matter, pc and mac can have the same quality, my friend says mac is better because his built in program imovie has built in effects, and windows movie maker doesnt have visual effects, just video filters, but i have programs on a pc that cant be on a mac that pro's use, and im trying to tell him most films have pc and macs involved, but he thinks its just mac, but anyway great video

I would have a Mac if I could afford one because I design web pages and like to make sites work on ALL platforms. So my only suggestion is to try both platforms before you decide that one is better than the other.

Macs handle graphics processing differently than PC's. They don't require the ridiculous NVidia DeathTurboGraphix X-Treme 3000 cards that PCs use.
My main issue with my Macbook Pro these days is how hot it gets. For some reason Flash makes the processor superhot.
