@backflipstyle Any kind. Just has to provide sound input. The best is probably to buy a headset with headphones and a microphone, which both plug into your soundcard, for comfort.

I've got the Russian version of the game, there is NO other difference but the voiceovers, and all the menues are left intact. They kept the voice types pretty close to the original english ones, but it still hilarious.

Yes, it's mostly the videocard that's going to matter.

It will probably work O.K. At the very least you should be able to play the game at lower resolutions without problems. I don't think L4D is a very demanding game hardware-wise. It's based on the Half-Life 2 game engine.

I love this game but I play it singleplayer and always in easy mode. Oh, I always take the character "Bill". I really only like to play levels where I get the sniper rifle with the scope, like in the airport terminal... I guess I suck. Great review Trannygirl!

How do you feel about the games industry in general? To be honest, as much as I enjoy shooting shit up now and again, Im getting progressively bored of this unending trend towards mindless violence. A growing number of people herald Games as an art form in its own right akin to Cinema etc, I'm not really disputing that, but I don't think they're really going anywhere in terms of the common archetypes they explore. The industry seems to be run by greedy blighters with no real interest in art.
