this is pretty awesome, massive props man, but akuma and gouken are actually brothers, and they trained together until they finally faught and gouken won, then akuma asked the demons for special powers or some shit so that he could beat gouken (sorry i had to be anal bout it)

Ans has anybody noticed bible references in street fighter 4. seth's name was suppose to be cain and if you put it together with abel you get cain and abel. Akuma dint visit he was alredy ther training whit Gotetsu and he is Gouken's brother (he kill Gotetsu then Gouken) even tho nothing makes sens because they both stronger then akuma specialy Gotetsu and why is Ryu from jap Acording to the Alfa Movie hes from Brazil and so its his mom and brother but thats CAPCOM for you making the story as they go LOL

Naw in the Alpha movie, his mother had him in Japan and left him with Gouken, then left to Brazil and had Shun while over there. She died and Shun came to Japan looking for Ryu.

well the alpha movie and the SF2 movie arent canon but the Alpha generations is mostly canon and the upcoming SF4 movie is a direct sequel to SF2 and a direct prequel to SF4 (SF4 takes place before SF3)

You might be talking about the shoryuken... well Ken's Fierce punch Dragon punch is on flame... its unique and its ken's signature move so they made it much more powerfull than ryu's.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, Ryu left Gouken's training early, thus giving Ken time to perfect the Shoryuken. I don't know if that's right but I do know that Ken spent time mastering that over the Hadouken that Ryu had mastered.

I'm surprised everyone's nit-picking so hardcore on everything BUT Gouken using a Shun-Goku-Satsu.

Only one person managed to utilize that move without using the Dark Hadou... and that was Sakura years later.

Whatever, though. It's still fun to watch the MUGEN-ery and the poster is sticking closely to what I've always accepted as the story.

Ansatsuken is the right one. Got changed to Shotokan Karate in the english versions of the games just like killing intent got changed to evil intent, and pretty much for the same reasons.

You're going by the Alpha story line. Where in if you read the actual Street Fighter Guide for Street Fighter 2, the first game. It says that Ryu did know his mother and father and grew up with them. He moved out when he was a teen because he was obsessed with fighting and could focus on nothing else. That's when he found his master and trained, he didn't grow up with Ken they were just rivals for years, not a life time. That's the story line I'm sticking with, regardless of changes later made.
