This has nothing to do with the speed of the video, well atleast from my knowledge.

It just simply that his old TV Capture card just didn't like the audio output from his N64.

The gameplay isn't any faster or slower, its just the pitch being shifted.

You need a different code for each level and star for most of them.

For example, If I want to play as Toad in all of the courses, I'd have to activate all the codes which make you play as Toad somewhere(eg. activate "play as Toad outside castle", "play as Toad in the castle", and all the others), right?

@MrCrazyToad That wouldn't work. The codes change how the player object looks; the player object will be something different in other levels so it would change a different object. Also, many of the graphic and animation values are different for each level, so it would crash the game.
