  • ROFL! ur kit looks so crazy! good job!

  • lame.....

  • Which percussion is played at 2'16" and then the two at 2'19" (hihat and two mounted cymbals ?) ? Please, can you say me which type, size are used and how you produce these sounds as I am not an "expert" ? It's indeed an original solo !

  • dude, does that giraffe function as a woodblock, or is it just for decoration?

  • @cocosandy .is the mic stand.....the girafphone....

  • @gerardrum HAHAHA Girafaphone! haha thanks hilarious!

  • @gerardrum hahahahaha!!!!!

  • is it just me or does the guy look bigger then his drummer...this is i feel lik a mini drumkit.the gong bass must be actually a normal size bass!

  • whats with da giraffe

  • I'd say the giraffe is the most interessting thing about this vid^^

  • yeah sir

  • why do you have a small ass bas drum and a big as gong

  • @likestooplay I totally agree but I'm just curious if you know how many letter 's' go on words?

  • Where`s the sound?!?

  • I don't care what others are saying that was great and I agree the sound quality wad very good. It did remind me of tim Alexander or even Peart a little. Hey that's not a bad thing!

  • very creative

  • nice girraffe

  • dont get me wrong your theory is great i understand the method just stiring the cool aid a little bit! lol:)

  • I find the sound from your drums remarkably good. How did you record this ? Amd next question - Is your gong drum on the right just a converted bass drum with matching shell and hoop or is the hoop bigger than the shell ?

    Greetings from Ireland

    Thomas

  • thank's thomas, the drumset is a RMVi recorded in my mac ,garage band and one m=audio nova mic, puts on the the head of the jirafe....that;s it.

the gong drum is a basic bass with the original lhoop

    GBY

  • Garage band can do amazing stuff. A collegue of mine uses it for his concepts and it sounds really great. The m-audio mic does a superb job - or is it the unusual mic-stand :) ?

    again, well done

    thomas

  • my son could do better!

  • Who cares if your son can do better? This isn't a video of your son, it's a video of the geradrum playing drums.

And why are you trying to rag on this guy? He had to start somewhere and not everyone has a chance to get an early start at drumming. There's always going to be someone who's better than someone else, so why bother making such a pointless statement?

  • congratulations, that is what i want to hear, that other can do it better from me .i hope see yours in youtube too. GBY

  • it looks like you are trying to build a

    stewart copeland signature drum set.

  • no i ;m trying to development my own drumset.with some influences from copeland, simon phillips etc.

    GBY

  • Even gong drum is bigger than your bass drum =D

  • it is!

  • Where did you get your gong drum?

  • if you want one maybe i can find it for you.its a RMV bass drum.

    GBY

  • Find me a giraffe microphone stand ? LOL :)

I'm just building a gong drum myself - with an 18" shell and a 20" hoop - just as an experiment. If it works well I want to build one in 20" with 22" hoop in acrylics.

Thanks for your friendly offer anyway.

  • I would love that

  • looks like a tim alexander fan

  • Muy Pobre... Pocas ideas, MEDIOCRE.....

Es posible que en 00:24 te largues un PEDO? un FLATO¿¿? ES POSIBLE¿?¿?¿?
