  • Hopefully that helped!!

  • You're doing quite well but there are just a few small things to work on:

    1. Turn out from your hips so that your knees go over your toes - if your toes are more opened out than your knees then maybe close your first position slightly to make it easier

    2: You need to straighten your back out. Firstly imagine you're a puppet with a string pulling you up from the top of your head and secondly make sure to tuck you bottom underneath your spine and pull you stomach up as well as in :)

  • Great job!! Just try to turn out your feet a little more and when you are plie-ing, push your knees over your feet. But this is really good!!! :D

  • @Paul5678 thanks. haha, I don't intentionally leave my head out really, I have been filming the last few things on my phone which takes ages to set up because it wont stand up by itself lol. Plus I have no where to tap really, I used to be able to tap in my kitchen, but we got that decorated, and the last few videos where on part of my old wardrobe which has gone to the tip now.

    I would like to make a full one but I don't know where to film it.

  • Also, when doing plies, to remain tight and in correct body position, thinking of going down in between two walls in front and behind you. That usually will keep your posture nice and straight =)

  • @LovelyDancer92 haha no worries. A long comment is good because it's in depth :) I just wrote that because on one of my videos people said you're fat, but on others they don't. It's like that on my other channel 2, some dances got critisied LOADS but some didn't. Strange. I didn't realise I wasn't turning out from my hips, thanks 4 pointing it out. And I've got an arched back which doesn't help. When u say 'tuck under' do u mean keep ur pelvis contracted? cos I try 2 do that but I'm not sure

  • It looks like you have a bit of an arch in your back which is causing your bum and stomach to stick out. This might be caused from you turning out with your knees and not from your hips. Instead of thinking "suck it in" it's more of a "tuck it in/under" Think of squeezing all of your muscles and tucking your bum under your spine. Pull up completely with good posture (head up, long neck, shoulders rolled back, etc.)

  • Well, first off, don't be automatically doubting yourself. Confidence girl! =)

    Make sure you're not turning out from your knee or ankle but your hip (making your whole leg turnout without strain)

    Try standing in parallel first, squeeze your stomach and bum muscles and your feet will start to turnout.
