I always thought the Aeris date scene was much more moving than the tifa one. The dynamic between Tifa and Cloud just doesnt seem 'right' to me. It's too unclear for a lot of the game if there just pals or if they're ever going to be anything more. ff7 is maybe the best in the series, but ff8 and ffx had the better love stories IMO.

i bet its because you have more magic materia on them which makes there strength minus 1 each. look at the materia when you put it on it tells you the pluses, and minuses to your physical stats.

That just means that the Date Mechanics went a little different for you. Cloud has the chance to go out with each of the girls as well as Barret, depending on how nice he is to each of them up til this point. Aerith has the highest chance, but you can change that based on interactions. That's all.

Ah right, thankyou. I didnt know barrett could go on dates though o.o I think one of the biggest problems im having is the appearance of the next areas i need to go to. Like it took me ages to get to the bone village today because one i got to that area it wouldnt appear, i find i have to run around on land a bit and get into battles or something for the level to kick start itself and show me the next area. If you get what i mean ^^;
