Japan already imports much beef.

American beef....for human beings.

I watched the documentary. I appreciate that the story of the fishermen and the people of Taiji is told. But it said tha the dolphin meat is used for pet food. That is not true. Dolphin meat is important food and sold expensively there. Also It said the dolphins are "brutally" slaughtered. Would this word be used when you cover a slaughter house in your country ?

I like how you admit that whaling is a sin. Actually Britain, Norway, Russia, and a couple other countries were whaling before the US's existence, and Japan only started commercial whaling after the US forced it to post ww2, but for some reason people have fooled themselves to think it's Japanese tradition. Also, no, one whale wasn't for one car, that's a very poor mathematical skills on your part, and yes, killing whales was just as bad then as it is now.

The tail meat is the best part of a whale. The minke is from antarctic sea, not from Taichi. It's free from poison. Stupid anti-whaler should stay away from whale food!

It is not free from poison, the fat IS HIGHLY contaminated with lead and PCB's, but you wouldn't know that, and especially in Taiji you have a 50 50 chance of buying dolphin which is MUCH worse.

It's not Japanese culture to eat whale, I can't stress this enough, it is not tradition to hunt whales, I've never seen evidence of small wooden Japanese boats going to the Antarctic. Whale meat is POISONOUS, it is dangerously high in methyl mercury the second most toxic substance on earth next to radio active material. It is also high in PCB's, which causes sterility in men, breast cancer. The mercury causes nerve damage and retardation especially to children. Whaling is illegal.
