Wish it was John Cowsill on drums here. He's the better drummer. He plays all the classic songs live on stage more like the recording than anybody because that's how he learned them!!!
Saw Brian Wilsons Pet sounds tour at the Beacon theater in N.Y. City -Al came out and joined the band halfway through the show-now that was great-met Al outside after the show-saw the beach boys(Mike & Bruce) Paramount theater in Peekskill N.Y. great show-met them both afterwards got autograghs & pics- they hung out and chatted about half hour-very cool!! Seeing them again same place Fri Dec 2 cant wait! Taking my dad to his first rock concert he's 83!!!!!!!
@yeoGlover brian is going to be back with them according to the latest news that they are reuniting for A 50TH anniversary concert tour with new and old material
@yeoGlover YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING! MIKE AND THE WILSON BROTHER'S A FIRST COUSINS. MIKE HELP WRITE A LOT OF THE BEACH BOYS HITS. IT WAS BRIANS DAD THAT SCREWER ALL OF THEM OUT OF MILLIONS.
I just saw Mike Love and Bruce Johnston's Beach Boys the other day (it was fantastic!! Best concert I've ever been to!) and must admit that this song just sounded weird without Al Jardine's vocals.
OMG if Al Jardine can rejoin the Beach Boys for this concert, I am so hoping for a 50th anniversary reunion with Brian and the rest!! Cause they are the BEST band in the world!!! LOVE The Beach Boys!!!
What can I say, you can not replace such a unique and awesome sound as this. Those days and this music are truly iconic and will never be forgotten! Love you Beach Boys! Truly I love you! WOW! what a talent!
saw B'Boys....London, Ontario Friday June 3/11 under the tent.....fans having plenty of fun and drinks and jamming front of stage,,,3300 or so. ..atmosphere lent itself to a great great party.....big charity fund raiser....
(try to catch these guys outside of casino setting, and you're in 'real good')
34 xongs/100 mins of music...Mike Love sharp as a tack,,Johnston/Totten/C Love/Totten/Kirrsch/Cowsill/Bonhomme
Wow I never thought in a million years that Al would be back on the stage Mike and Bruce ever again. It wouldn't have seemed right to seen anyone else sing lead on this because after I saw the band on Dancing With The Stars (minus Al and Brian and of course Carl who is dearly missed) it looked like a complete sham.
Could this be a sign of the rumored 50th anniversary Beach Boys reunion with all the surviving members? I sure hope so. Never thought I'd see Al Jardine and Mike Love performing together on stage again!!!
@shutdownvol3 No, I know Christian is there. I can't remember the young fellows name but he played with them last time I saw them and was fantastic. Did a nice lead on the Ballad of Ol' Betsy.
the old ladies in the crowd are so cuute <3 aww

bonn4409 5 months ago
@bonn4409 I don't think Brian will ever be back with these lot, well apart from Al.
It says it all when the only Wilson left doesn't tour with the name even though 90% of the work was his and Love and his cronies do.
Mike Love is an asshole for ever suing Brian as he would have been flipping burgers without him IMO.

It's just too bad Stamos was on drums for this one. When John Cowsill plays it sounds more like the drum parts on the original recording!!!
