Oh yeah, CG was around then, although if it was in higher resolution you could see it was still in its infancy. What I love about this commercial is the attention to detail as that `64 Dart morphs into a Shadow. The grill, the slant-six, the dashboard, the interior door hardware and the rear badge are all accurate.
This commercial is so cool. One of the select few great Chrysler commercials of the 80's. The rest were boring and cheezy, pandering to American pride and corny white people.

how did they do all those special effects, i dont think they had computers that could do that back then.
