I wanted to ask something. I have been asking a lot but nobody would answer. I never saw "Operation Overdrive," but my sister has. According to her, Mack and Rose weren't close at all. Yet this is the pairing I see from fans about 95% of the time. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with it, I am just wondering what gave people the Idea.

While it was never explicitly said during the series that Mack and Rose had crushes on each other, the two had a very close friendship that I think gave some viewers the idea that maybe they could be more than friends someday.

Plus there weres subtle moments here and there that could be interpreted as flirting or romantic interest between the two.
