  • will the ink be permanent on the mug ?

and is this process effective when printing 1 or 2 color logo on a mug ?

    thanks.

  • @projektues Yes, sublimation is permanent and there is no limitation of colors that you put on the mug, the mug just needs to have a white background to transfer to

  • @Ryonet thanks...

  • I have not ever seen the inside or the bottom of the mug printed and unfortunately I cannot even find any info on that.

  • hi, i found your video very interesting. thought you could give me a heads on on how to print inside the mug? how about the bottom of the mug?

  • This process requires specially coated mugs in order for proper ink transfer.

  • Can you print on regular mugs?

  • Awesome set of videos for someone with ZERO experience. Thank you, so helpful. I can't wait to try my hand at sublimation printing for mugs and water bottles.

  • im looking for a mug printer for my promotional mugs can you recommend a low cost machine ?

  • a 100 times easier with a mug press and 100 times faster...

  • i have learnt so much from this guy he really knows his stuff, thanks for everything you have done on here including all your screen printing videos you really have helped me THANK YOU

  • is there a mug wrap supplier in the Philippines?

  • is there a mug wrap supplier here in the Philippines? more or less how much it is?

  • i have a quetion i was wondering how can i print on leather? what should i use? and i need the ink to be flexible to print on leather belts

  • well for the sublimation process you do but its the ink really that you need the paper just helps it out to lay down better on what ever item your sublimating onto and the mug has to have the polymer coating or it wont work

  • man this look good!! I'm gona check UR site for those thing!!

  • hi .. can i put a mug in to microwave ???

its work too? and mug have to be special mug ?

  • Microwaving your mug WILL NOT work. These mugs are microwave safe but that does not work for sublimation. You need to use a normal oven. thanks for watching!

  • no cuz the wrap has a metal piece and the mug has to have the polymer coating or it wont work

  • How long does the image last on the mug, does it come off easy with washings and from a hand touching it often. Like for example if someone uses one as thier mug for thier morning coffee everyday how long will it last since it'll have to be cleaned often?

  • In that situation, the colors will fade 10-20% over the course of a couple years. Sublimation is a very long lasting process.

  • Wow, that's pretty impressive. I was expecting it to fade much sooner. Thanks for the reply OH hey I have been meaning to call and ask but are you guys taking any steps to help people out with that new law that's making it for everyone to get thier products tested if it's for kids 12 and under. Alot of people are worried about it on t-shirt forums cause people who screen print will have to pay so much to have shirts tested for lead and phthalates in the inks and stuff.

  • You're welcome. To answer your question, Yes, all of our new inks are phthalate compliant, all the WB inks are of course already phthalate compliant. If you are using older plastisol ink I would not recommend using that on childrens clothing, insure that the new plastisol you use is phthalate compliant, it should have a sticker on it.

  • It should be as you said if the coating apply onto mugs is good, for my expiriency if you do not provide good mugs and well coated, what you say it is not real.

  • but it dont last outside it is not UV ray resistant longest ive seen it last is about 3 or 4 months before it starts fading

  • oh that's a good comment. It probably will fade with long exposure to direct sunlight... like many things do.

  • my boss is one of the pioneers of the process

hes taught me everything i know.you ever work with the ribbons and that old seiko printer?

  • hi there, i would like to know if these mugs are dishwasher safe, and i seen cheap plane white mugs at my local supermarket how do i know that they are sublimate mugs and finally what is the driver software thats needed? thx
