Practice just getting the sound with all holes open until every time you blow across the hole you get a nice loud sustained sound. You do not need scales or books yet. Go slow . My flutes speak easily but I do not know your instrument. Continue with the lesson perfecting each process before moving on. Remember to breathe. Go slow.

I bought a flute from world winds music, four hole in d, and i just cant seem to get anything out of it. any helpful hints? is there a scale book or something that can help me? i don't know, man.
