hello everyone here ..... i need some help from any doc here .... my niece born with myelomeningocele in neck ..so here in algeria we havent who do the operation for here

so i need information about that and if she will be ok after this operation ....i will sent some pictr and scan if any doc need this

Thanks for the Video Mark. It was very Good. You did have one small hickup that I saw. Almost all Spina Bifida Childern have a brain Malformation. It is called Chiari 2 malformation. It is often a symtomatic, but it can cause problems with, hearing, swallowing, or apnea. Even with this malformation, children with Spina Bifida can have a normal intellegence. Other than that you had great info.

Thanks for this. Have a child with SB. Good that people can understand it better. She has myelomeningocele, still alive (16 years old), paraplegic from nipple line downward. She is a special blessing. Has hydrocephalus, had arnold chiari malformation + brain lining deformation which complicated decompression and laminectomy. Had hip displacia, scoliosis and kyphosis. A whole bundle of interesting problem.

Nice vid, but i think it would've been better if you hadn't stuttered as much. Other wise, very informative. It has made me a little more knowledgeable about my bf's situation.
