  • "I came to fulfill the law" - Jesus

if one jot or tittle will not be removed from the law until all is fulfilled.... and Jesus Christ "fulfilled" them as he said on the cross "it is finished"...

Does that mean that now jots and tittles of the law can be removed?

  • The Scripture you are quoting is:

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." - Matthew 5: 17-18

notice it says "Till heaven and earth pass"

    and

    "till all be fulfilled"

Heaven and earth have NOT passed and there are still things that must happen before "ALL can be fulfilled"

  • No! Jots and tittles can in "no wise" be removed from the law! Exactly! We cannot change God's Law. And Christ himself said, "think not that I am come to destroy the law"

  • Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies from His birth until His Death! Amen!

Christ paid our debt in full when He declared, "It is finished." He completed His plan for saving us, and He paid the debt. Someone say AMEN!!!

  • Amen!

  • @xpsalm119x AMEN
