  • The blacks ruined this Mall just like everything else they have contact with !!!

  • @bree800 While I tend to agree they do ruin damn near everything for the decent public, I'd say Great Lakes Crossing killed Summit

  • that mall was the shit

  • Why yes I do remember indian joe! I remember he would hitch hike and everyone who gave him a ride couldn't get over how badly he smelled!!!!!! lol

  • @MrSolidsnake1984 It's gotten bad since about 1998 I remember being about 15 or 16 and walking out of a Foot Locker and some mouthing little kid starting shit with me for no reason. because I was white I told him he gets in my face again he's going to lose some teeth needles to say he walked the other way....!

  • terrible fuckin mall makes me want to throw up everytime I past it.

  • @MrSolidsnake1984

you must not have any fond childhood memories of that place like some of us from the pontiac/waterford area.

  • this is sad it used to be so beautiful now its gone :(

  • I used to go there to Wards and stuff! I really enjoyed the Christmas display they had by hudsons! I also miss the Chuck E. Cheese across the street at oakland pointe! I pratically grew up going to both places! good video!

  • Good pictures, awful music

  • that second picture is somerset mall, not summit place

  • I remember coming here with my mom and my stepdad when I was a kid back in the mid 90s. And I remember I come here and trick or treat when I was a kid. I miss those days. I wish they could stay open for a long time that my 14 years old sister and her friends could hang out there. Also my sister and her friends just live around the concer from the old mall.

  • Yes. I grew up here from a child. Worked Security here around 86. We had so much fun ! Miss a couple of ladies I met there too. Yeah poor Joe got hit a few times. I knew him well. This mall is full of memories !

  • @MISSdirection1992. Wow, I remember him. My dad knew him from the Flea Market. Whatever happened to him?

  • @free2drm He died.Got hit by a car on telegraph and dixi.

  • @MISSdirection1992 Do you know how long ago that happened?

  • Very sad, indeed. I was an 8 year Sears veteran and a mall guard for 4 years. How sad.

  • Makes me sad. I went to the grand opening for this mall. I spent my youth there.
