@joeldude76 how did i remove the hu? I took the peice off with the 4x4 knob and the rear windshield whiper knob and just push the hu forward

@joeldude76 nice man yeah it did work but i have since upgraded everything and eventually plan on upgrading again but that was the best budget HU i've ever had

ur running them through your head unit? thats not good.... but wtf haha sounds good,how good they hit? ima be getting 2 lanzar 10's on top of my 3 lanzar max 12's,2 lanzar max 15's 2 rockford 12" P1's and 2 rockford power punch 15's :) hehe

@demonsparkx they honestly sound like kicker comps or cvrs they hit pretty hard for what they are and they cant beat the price had them hooked up on an amp for a little while never took a video my e8 ported hits about as hard as one of those sealed but when the lanzar is on more watts so im happy with them

@SykoDj haha yeah man i belive it i had one lanzar max 12 in my bandpass Q logic box its dumb loud and clean. i got a triple 12 box ill be putting three lanzar max 12's in guna be crazy. im also getting the same 10's that u have. thanks for the info man. 5*

i had that vr3 i loved the sd card reader but had to return it it had a loud pop when i turned it on. does yours do that?

no it didnt when i had it but the rca's ended up blowing out on it so i got a new dvd power acoustic 8"

The best low frequency box I ever had was one 15 in a sealed. Regular ported are too lose for me and I didn't care for the quality. Its kind of sloppy. Each box has its strengths and each speaker has its best enclosure. Personaly I would never run 10" in a ported box but thats just my prefferance.

i think it depends more on the subs and the style of box that you build for it some subs sound better sealed others ported i guess it's a little bit personal preference as well

Yea dude that ported band pass stuff is pretty much garbage, you need a big box ported to whatever frequency and there ya go. or even sealed. give them like almost 2 cu. or something

what i'm planning on do and doing... slowly is building a 2 chamber box ported to about 35hz and each chamber will be 1.5 cubes because the sub only needs 1.2 so i figure the extra space wont hurt

That sounds good to me. It calls for 1.2 cu in a sealed enclosure though isnt it? ported is more...

i think it's .8 in a sealed not positive though but i am positive that the subs them selves only need a mounting depth of 5.12 inches at least thats what the lanzar site says

as long as you dont forget the displacement of the sub itself cuz you have to minus that from your box

thats actually the driver side back door speaker cause its on its way out but hey its been threw 3 trucks so its definitely a good speaker
