  • Oh one last thing:the silver things on the floor are items you can pick up. Move over it to see what the item is in the left look window, and select the up arrow to pick it up.

  • This game was originally an Amiga game called Corporation, released in 1990, and Dementia is the company that developed the game for Core Design. It also says Dementia on the Scan Man (an item you can get in the game). And to select options, you have to push B, not start. Hope all of this helps! ^_^

  • I don't have time to explain what all the different items in the inventory are for, but I will say this. To bring up a map, use the backpack computer in your inventory (white thing with an antenna), and it will bring up a small map in the lower left of the view window. The computer uses equipment power just so you know. Now, moving on:

Why it says Dementia on the ID card in the lower left of the overall screen:

  • Now for some miscellaneous things: You CAN reload your gun. All you have to do is look for it in your inventory, and select the right manipulation button (hand on the right of the control interface) to get a closer look at it, then press the right manipulation button again to reload it. The reloads will be taken out of the equipment power meter under the right naked guy. To recharge the power meter, you need to use either a power pack, or hook your belt cable up to a computer terminal (continued

  • The head and the chest, because you will immediately get captured or raped by Freddie again depending on what kind of equipment you have. This also happens if the Damage Energy bar is completely empty. The one on the right is for inventory which represents pockets on the character's suit. If a pocket has anything in it, it will be red. You can carry as many items as you want as far as I know, but I read you take damage from carrying around too many items. (continued)

  • And finally, the down arrow is to drop items. Why do you have an option to drop items? I'll explain later. Moving on:The two naked men on each side of the screen represent different things. The one on the left shows you what part of the body your character has damage in, and it has an effect on them too. For example, if you get shot in the legs too much, you move slower. The ONE place you do NOT want to take alot of damage in is:

  • Sometimes when you pick up an item, it will have a red X next to it in your inventory. This means that it's broken. To fix it, you have to use this function by holding down the B button until the red marker in the bar between both look windows goes to the top. The left and right arrows on the right of the screen are used to cycle through items in your inventory (the right look window) The second hand icon is to use items in your inventory. (continued)

  • Believe it or not, doing this can actually restore your damage energy if kept on this function for a long time. The two left and right arrows on the left are to cycle through items you can pick up or use that AREN'T in your inventory. The first hand is to use an item that appears in the left look window. The up arrow is used to pick up items that CAN be picked up that show up in the left look window, and be added to your inventory. The wrench in the middle is used to fix things. (continued)

  • The look window on the right is for items in your inventory. Now, here's what the controls do:

A is used to jump or duck depending on if you press either up or down simultaneously with A. The B button is to shoot and use items. C is used to switch targets to shoot at that are in your range if there's more than one. Now, onto the control interface. Press start to access the control interface. Now, here's what each function on it does:

1st button is pause as you may know. (continued in next post

  • I can understand your frustration, because I felt the same when I first played this, but I'll try to explain how the game plays the best I can.

The two empty windows on the bottom are look windows. The look window on the left is for items lying on the ground that you can pick up and items that you can use. The "picture frame for example is a computer terminal that you have to use to gain access to other floors on the building the game takes place in. (continued in next post)
