@xxMiZa I think it's actually quite easy. The chart is based on the binary system. When you look at the lower right corner of the fields, you'll see that these are the powers of 2, just a bit mixed up. Each field represents one cipher of a binary number, and when you write the decimal number into each field where a one would be in the binary transcription, then you'll get the exact chart shown above. :-)

it's just binary, the letters are the bits that are used in the specific number, and he's written out all of the numbers that use that specific bit/letter, you could do arbitrarily large numbers with this.

This chart allows for more than 60 possible combinations, 63 to be exact. So I can technically add a few more numbers to allow it to guess someone's age up to 63 years old.

The real secret lies within the one of the properties with numbers of power of 2. If you have a strand of numbers of power of two starting with 1, for example, 1,2,4,8,16, you can pick and choose any amount of those numbers to add up to any number between 1 and 31.

The end numbers of this chart are 1,2,4,8,16,32.
