I have a V2 for sale. It's in mint condition. It's just more than I need for what I do musically these days. If you are interested or know anyone who may be, send me a message on here and I'll get you more info.
@QuickRiffs Your pretty much a little bitch that doesn't know anything about music. So fuck off or go learn something about amplifiers you peice of shit.
@QuickRiffs lol you own a marshall practice amp, I own Line6 HD100 head, a marshall MODE FOUR head, a Krankenstien cab, a 12 space rack with an dual channel eq and noisegate with a limiter in it, I have a razorback explosion, a dime o flauge, and esp sc-607 7 string....you have literally fucking shit
@QuickRiffs Because some people lose sight of what is good and what is not. Dean zelinsky of dean guitars, the last couple years that have been getting retarded, Dean left cuz he was "embarrassed" formed DBZ guitars and its a fail, all the guitars are stupid and suck, and washburn is better than dean at making MLs but they dont have the rights to make them cuz dime is dead
Can u record through XLR without using the Box? (Mastervolume completly turned off) I have the same amp, but no XLR Cable :P If this is posible its perfect for silent homerecording and stuff :)
Well, in this vid I was using the cab as a prop to hold it up to a level that I could mess with it, so it wasn't plugged in. But you have to have the master volume on and have standby off for the XLR to work. It doesn't damage the head as long as you don't crank the master up real high. One good thing about SS power amps.
Thanks for the quick answer ;) I wrote an email to randall too, they told me it is no problem to run that amp without a connected cab because "the power amp is separate from the XLR recording output". Another plus for the amp :) I love this thing xD
does the sound degrade quite a bit if you have it cranked to like 10? i ask because it part solid state and i can't decide between this and a rm100. also there are no randall dealers in south dakota so i can't try one....
well, with my experience, I've never needed to go past 5! So I couldn't tell you if it did or not, I would guess that there would be some clipping, but there is plenty of volume to be had. If I need more volume I usually just bump up the channel volumes a little and makes a big difference!
thanks for the video dude I've seen you on the randall forum too. I was wondering what you think of the solid state channel on this amp I've heard people say its thin and nasaly then others saying its where you get the really tight badass grind. The amp looks like its pretty fun with all options but the t2 seems pretty cool too with the tube clean and that midi knob.
I like the Solid State channel, and you can make it thicker with the Density knob in the power section. On the sound you heard for the tube channel and my other V2 demo, I had the Density on 0. And it is still pretty think. The only negative thing I can say about the amp is it needs to be up a little in volume to sound good (at least to me, which is why I used the XLR out to eliminate the spreakers from the equation). Meticalman on the dean forums has the T2 if you wanted to know more on that 1

@snigloid Right, right. Because we already talked about musical tastes and backgrounds, I seemed to have forgotten about that part.
And by the way, I own a V2. So, sir, eat shit.

@snigloid Except I own a Randall V2. Why would you brag about guitars that the founder was so embarrassed about that he left the company?
