OOB Review: The Tamiya 1/350 CVN-65 Enterprise Carrier pt1/2

I just got a 1:350 Tamiya Missouri. It is epic!

When I bought mine it was $120 and recently saw another one at HOBBYTOWN gone up to $180.00. With mine just going to do the basic as same with Starship ENTERPRISE so kids can see the difference in size between the ship of "Mythology" and the Ship of "Reality".

I have done the same thing---got the Starship ENTERPRISE FIRST and then wife got me the Carrier USS ENTERPRISE. Plan is to get both built and have them displayed at either a Lib. or at a science center so kids can see the "difference" between "Reality" and our modern "Mythos"---Someday we will go to the Stars, but will be a one-way trip and the speed will be from 1/10 to maybe 50& "c" speed. I built my carrier still haven't painted it taken me my whole summer and 1 month of October to finish it now i have to repaint it bottom is to dark.
