This is almost correct, The sacrifices weren't for the love of a special god that the sikhs had. The god that the mughals were speaking of the hindu's speakin of the christians speakin of were all the same god! The sacrifice these guru's and sikhs made were for the FREEDOM of belief for the FREEDOM of Humanity, They did it for the love of mankind not for their personal god or beliefs, They were standing up to say that anyone may believe what they wish with no force!
