Everlasting war does not mean the end of the human race. The advent of nuclear weapons has not lead to apocalypse, as many have predicted. On the contrary, even as the 20th century has proven to be the most bloody of all the centuries, it has also been the most economically prosperous. We humans have hope!
To look at human nature through the lens of conflict is to judge by the exception and not the rule. The rule is what is happening outside your window and in your home or office.
