I wouldn't. I mean, you'll just have to read guides, and that ruins the fun of the game. Plus, unless you can understand Japanese, you'll also have a hard time battling.

It looks as if there will be new sprites for every pokemon. Cool. Also, their actions when they're sent into battle may only happen to a single pokemon instead of the d/p actions which were shared between several.

i bet you can catch palkia and dialga and in underground you can get both shieldon and cranidos fosslis

You can catch both Dialga and Palkia (and obviously Giratina), but I don't know about the fossils. Probably that's the case though.
