ANNOUNCEMENT: UniSky is 50% off for the whole of December. That's only $50 for the leading solution for skies and weather effect in Unity. Get it on the Unity Asset Store now!
i have a problem. i precisely follow the instructions in the readme, but whenever i use it on anything other than the example, i get a retarded screen that appears to be the normal map for some sort of character skin. please help me, i dont know what to do, even after following the instructions to the individual letter. i am on unity pro v. 3.4.2 with full commercial license to the engine itself. what is going wrong?
@JONIMASAKIS Yes - the trees in this demo were created within Unity's built-in tree designer. They react to "Wind Zones", so you can actually set your own wind direction and turbulence and the trees will react accordingly.
How did you do the clouds O.O I am trying to do as much of the project on my own as I can (scripting, modeling, and all that) I couldnt afford this or pro yet XD.
I would appreciate if could tip me on how do clouds like that please ?
My goodness....we are going to be seeing some truly beautiful games some day. Can you imagine walking around in an MMO sandbox world and having this as the game world?? Most peoples computers can't handle this, but who cares...it's pure genius. To play it they SHOULD have to fork out the money for a gaming rig.
Wow this is amazing! If I decide to make this Flight Sim I'm planning on making I could definitely use this if this has real-time weather updates around the world!
I'm really liking the look of this, I really hope I get to try this one day. It'd be great for a Third-Person PRG game, or RTS game. Keep up the good work.
Dude... this is amazing! Very well made! Is this all automated or inside one script/game object or does the audio/particles/weather happen across different game objects?
Wow. iam really impressed what some guys pull out of unity3d. good atmosphere, maybe you can add some flash/lightning with reflections on objects (like in GTA4) :)

Is the sky 3D, can I fly an aircraft thru it?

Chris, may I get a copy of the script that creates the transitioning weather effects? The demo scene in the UniSky package only includes a day scene.

@merccc1
Using a perling noise algorithm in your shader. But chris cloud implementation is a bit more complex.

Absolutely stunning. I am totally getting this for my project. Does this need Unity Pro or can it run on Indie? thanks
backbeatz 11 months ago 2
@backbeatz The storm effects require Pro, but you can turn automate weather off and the rest of UniSky is functional with indie.
chrisofboro 11 months ago
@chrisofboro Thanks for the reply. Looks like I will have to fork out for a Pro license. Come on tax return :)

Damn, that storm was brief - perhaps filmed on FarAway ?
