'80 - '85 seems to have been the best time span for music ever. Synth savy guys in leather jackets rolling out experimental yet danceable music. Some call it new wave. Others synthpop. I simply call it greatness. All we have today is garbage (hip hop and R&B). In America anyways.
You're absolutely right! The early 80s were the best, as far as as new alternative music is concerned, and I agree, hip hop and R&B is garbage!
However, there are lots of interesting and talented bands playing 80s-influenced music today. You have to dig deeper, though. Check out Apoptygma Berzerk, Ashbury Heights, Parralox, Pride And Fall, Waves Under Water, The Girl & The Robot, Dekad etc.
Amazing track. I too first heard it on Tiga's DJ Kicks mix CD. I'm a big fan of Tiga, any music he likes I usually enjoy too. I love listening to his DJ mixes!
So thanks to Tiga for putting me on to this track, it's also got me investigating Soft Cell's b-sides.
@michiferrucci ive been DJ'in for years. I always used the word mix for describing a Dj set. Like when i would make a 'mix tape'. In the terms you guys are talking about here i dont think there's a massive difference. To me a mix of something would be a tweak on the original version. Not too different. And a remix something which is a totally different version. Is this how you see the difference? As i cant say i've ever really bothered to fully understand the difference! lol
Sounds even better on vinyl.

@secretsquirrel112 it doesn't exist, tiga has never remixed this tune.
he actually made a compilation and he mixed this track in it, that's all.

@michiferrucci Alright smart arse - if you want to get technical about it!!
Regardless of technical term - its on the Tiga DJ Kicks album..... and is a very good tune! :D

@secretsquirrel112 i'm sorry dude, i didn't want to be so annyoing but since i was a dj, there's a huge difference between a MIX and a REMIX.
anyway, of course it's a great tune ;)
