God Bless Gale Storm. She made me happy when I was growing up. This interview must have been in the 90s. I wanted to marry her when I was 6 and saw her on tv. I thought so highly of her. I was so sad when I heard she died. Glad I bought her book.

Gale Storm was the best. Not only was she a fabulous talent, but also a wonderful human being. She truely was an American treasure. I miss her.

Nice interview! The interviewer could've spoken louder for Gale to hear. I never knew that she had lost her hearing in her later years. At least she admits that she used hearing aids at the beginning of the interview. That shows she's not ashamed to have to use something to assist her! I think that's great! R.I.P. Gale!

years on my birthday..prior to her death last year.

As a child I adored her and thought her recording "Treasure Island" was the most beautiful and romantic song I have ever heard. Also liked "Dark Moon", 'Lucky Lips" and "Ivory Tower." She was such a lovely, beautiful actress, singer.

I remember and wondered what ever happened to the show. 54 y/o here, don't think they played reruns much if at all. The 50's were they best TV ever. Sounds as honest as a person could be from this interview. Where are these people today in this corrupt world we live in? Shame.

A most charming and captivating lady ! I was most saddened to hear of her passing. I was not yet born when her first TV series was on the air but I see several episodes as a kid when the show was in syndication. We don't have such wonderful talents like this anymore !

By the way, does anyone remember the show "Oh Susanna?" I guess that was the rerun title but I did watch it on the network. Boy, that was long ago! I haven't seen My Little Margie since about 1960!

i used to watch Margie on the uhf channel 52 in los angeles during the early 1970s as a 9 year old..it aired after the little rascals theater on saturday nights

What a wonderful, cheerful, optimistic person. As a little girl, I just loved her television shows and she showed such energy and delight in her work. While reading the People magazine, in which they honored the Life of Michael Jackson, I sadly read that Gale Storm passed away on my birthday, June the 27th. I will certainly remember her always and with great fondness and happy memories and thoughts. She has a monument in my heart. ScandyE

oh my word! just read that she died today !!!!! she looked FABULOUS in this interview / she was a darling and i remember her reruns in the 60s when i was a little girl / her infamous "Daaaaad!?" lives on in many a daughter dealing with their own dads ... wow .. what a lovely lady and so sad she too has passed on .. what a week of losing people. We will remember you Gale.

I remember watching My Little Margie in reruns in the early 60's. One of the half hour shows was the first 16mm sound film I could afford to buy when I became a film collector when in my high school years. I believe the show was shot in the old Hal Roach Studios.

Nice to hear from Gale Storm after all of these years....enjoyed her as My Little Margie; I recall reading a biography of her not too many years ago, and of her battle with alcoholism..enjoyed her part in a Murder She Wrote episode filmed in the eighties...She looks wonderful and sounds great!!

Wow wow wow!! Thanks for this video on one of my all time favorite TV stars. What memories it evokes! It is amazing what you can find on YouTube! Only problem is after about 5 or 6 mintues the tracking goes off and her voice is out of sync with the tape.
