It is quite obvious to me that this guy is a very good person, and that he believes sincerely his position. But I must say that it is naive posturing. The Reason why America is Babylon The Great is it refers to a city in the future that never existed in John The Revelator's time. What would you suggest for young Americans buried in loans from their university years? My own loan is WAY too high to leave the US. I have considered serving in the military, as the enlistment bonuses would practically eliminate my debt. What do you think about that? Would it be okay to serve (not all jobs involve killing people in Iraq) and then leave once my term is over?

@slimjim774 I wish I had the answer. The system of people having to take out loans to study is terrible. So many people are enslaved to the system after they graduate from the indoctrination centers(Colleges). I say the following completely seriously; My advice is to get on your knees and ask our Father in Heaven to help you and to show you the way out of this. Ask Him to open the doors for you. If you are serious and want to serve him and not just save your skin, you'll get your answer.

The more I study it, the more I disagree that America is Babylon.

Here are few reasons:

1. The Catholic Church fits all the characteristics; America does not.

2. Revelation 13 already describes America as the 2nd beast.

3. The harlot rides the beast and a woman is symbolic for a church.

4. The woman [the RCC] was drunken with the blood of the saints [Christians worldwide].

So it seems that the woman [RCC] rides the beast [America/UN/]. Interestingly there are many similarities between the two.

@jamezbond78 If you read Jeremiah 50 and 51 you will see that it is definitely described as a "nation" a "land" and a "city" it talks about it's mighty warriors and mighty men and being the "hammer of the whole earth" it is said that its people are as fat as calves. There are many more descriptors which fit the U.S. and don't fit the RCC. It says that all nations stream to it. That is not true of the RCC, each year attendance is lower and lower in the RCC. @YahshuaTheKing Actually, you are probably right! I just thought of something. The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. The term mountains in symbolism can refer to a land mass or a political authority. In this instance, she sits in authority over 7 mountains, or land masses. The Seven continents! America has military bases all over the world. It also makes sense that the Antichrist will most likely come from Rome, so it cannot be destroyed first.

"its people are as fat as calves?" What commercials do I see, about every other commercial on American TV? A commercial for "fat chairs" (power wheel chairs or scooters), or a commercial pushing Big Pharma's pills. If foreigners watch our TV, wouldn't they think we are incredibly lazy or unhealthy?

I still don't know how to get Residency, but I am taking Hebrew now.

Sanctified (set apart for sacred use) and poised for service and immediate obedience to the prompting of the guidance of the Spirit. Confess our sins daily. Turn off the TV. Nix Hollywood (holy-wood: magic wand) movies. Study to prove our faith.

However, it is going to be so cruel and deceiving when the anti christ arrives on the scene shortly and so many will believe and trust in his miracles. I have heard so many different interpretations of who "Mystery Babylon" is and i don't believe it is the USA. I believe it to be more a religious system, maybe the Vatican, but could be wrong as well.

See, this is both a natural and spiritual force at play. As the scriptures always have a natural (physical) illustration for a spiritual condition. Mysterious Babylon is a spiritual attitude, primarily consisting of Pride and Wealth. But is also a physical location, a place. Please study this with prayer.
