I think paisley plays 95% of the time with the bridge pickup correct? Like in American sat nite? It would of been cool if u cycled through the diff p/up positions though. kinda random question but if u can remember, were thoes strings fairly worn on that paisley guitar? thanx.

How much do yo have in the Dr Z in the background?? I have looked all over for used ones and it's rare to find anyone getting rid of them and they sound amazing every time you hear them even if they're the smaller versions. I heard Sol Philcox play through a tiny DrZ something and its mind blowing how good it sounds!

YOu pretty much nailed the tone. Did you have the Zen Drive on? In other words, did the StangRay contribute to the overdrive sound at all? I find I have to have the volume of my RX/ES up much louder than that you recorded at to get overdrive, even with an Air Brake.

Also, how did you get so much neck wear on a guitar that young?

i dont think that is wear, i think its the spots in the wood because they are custom, i asked the maker about it and he said that with paisley's specs it comes to $2800

Kind of, what Bill Crook does with his Pink Paisley relics is he leaves the necks unfinished so they wear faster, but much like they would naturally wear over time. Yes, this one is about $3,500 with the McVay Gbender
