Put Tiff in the Evo and have a straight race without cheating, and the Evo would've beaten it by loads. The Evo is 4.4 to 60 and was hassling that Audi despite the fact he cheated and cut a corner.
Massive respect to the Audi. A truly great looking car that would spank all the modern hot hatches of today.
I do think, that the Mitsubishi is a little bit faster this time, but, not to forget, there are 25 years between both cars, so I think the Audi is still a great car in performance and earns a lot of respect
I had this one already on the german autobahn against my Audi 200 20V with stock factory RS2 engine and just a chip so that it reaches 375Hp.
But the EVO8 was not faster!!!
We tried everything to cause we both thought 25 MOREhp and 200Kk less than my Audi must be seen somehow...
...but it doesn't1
And last but not least the M EVO series is very poor build. There no comfort at all its just a race car that got beaten by a 17 years old Audi 200 20V Turbo.
Ok but the fact is that it´s not a Autobahn racer, it´s as U say supposed to go on a racetrack or in the forest. Think the downforce and gearratio made it slower than yours in terms of highspeed.
Do U think that if not audi would have used a 4wd in rally 1980 the rally today would still use only 2wd cars? Shure i am very glad and thankful that Audi did it and im am not a hater of Audi. But it lost bigtime but U people doesn´t care anyway. Haha U have a big mouth, on that same course the Evo 9 would eat the 2ton+, 3 times more expencive Audimonster every day of the week.
U should look at this movie, a 400hp Evo 8 with ful factory garantee and a little fat old man can keep up with a racedriver in a Lamborghini Murcielago.
Haha poor comments for the Audi. The Evo is obviusly much faster, the Audi eould have been miles behind if Tiff hadn´t cheated. Can´t say its slow´but itsn not at all as fast as the evo. + it spells Mitsubishi. Wasn´t Audi that made 4wd, they just put into rallying. And the Evo name earns much respect for it´s great performance and refinement over the years, not to speak about all the rallyvictorys.
do u know your beloved evo was racing with a 25 years older car? Just think about this, take a 20 years old mitsubishi and take it in a track racing with an actual Audi rs4, do u think the mitsubishi will keep near of the audi more than... 3 secs? No. Stfu then :>
Why not the s1 E2 instead with 600hp or Delta s4. They would woop the mitsubichis ass!!

Without Audi there would be no Mitsubishi EVO!
The SPORTQUATTRO was made in the 1980, thats over 25 years ago.
Lets drive the MITSUBISHO vs. AUDI RS6 5L Bi-Turbo with 600HP, what do you think who would be faster?
Its not about whos is faster boy, its about that the Audi 25 years older an still can take it with a car from nowadays.
And at least: The hohenester SPORTQUATTRO was faster than the FERRARI ENZO from 0 - 100!!!
