i cant recommend a specific tv but what i recommend is a tv close to these specs:

get a LCD tv (plasma is bad for gaming),

more than 32" if you dont play in a bedroom, a tv with no 100Hz, if the tv you get has the feature make sure you disable it when you play, your tv dont have to be able to display 1080p content because there not much content available in that resolution (except god of war 3 will be huge and good looking in 1080p) also the tv should have good contrast.. hope that helped :)

The 100Hz is good for watching tv (like sports) but for gaming you should turn it off because on certain games you can notice very bad cases of "Haloing" which I can only describe as a 2-inch "halo" of blurring around foreground objects when the background is moving at a different speed to the foreground. A gaming mode is not necessary but i just recommend turning off/ minimize the mode while gaming. Hope i din't make you confused, if you dont understand what im saying just forget about it :)

@tuber52 yeah as 100 hz mode "adds" frames to the picture you see and makes the sense of motion i guess better for someone who watches sports eg. when gaming you can sometimes notice shimmering/Halo effects round some fast moving objects.. i dont know how to describe it but if your tv doesnt flicker and you dont notice any shimmering/haloing around fast moving stuff/objects youre doing just fine

to those people saying that its pointless to have a bd player if he has a ps3. you do realize that the lens in the ps3 will fuck up faster if you use it for games and bd's. i plan on getting a stand alone bd player for this reason.

@dirtygore Thats is exactly what i'm trying to tell but they don't understand that. But i can give you an update on my gaming setup. I have sold my stand alone blue ray player panasonic dmp bd35 and added some money to buy the ps3 slim. So i now have 2 ps3's (phat and slim) both with 120GB harddrives and i use one for games and the other one for movies. You can catch the video of both ps3's in my channel !!! Please no comments about why i have 2 ps3's please it's annoying !!!

no, the blu ray laser in a ps3 was solely designed to handle games as a priority, if you constantly use it for both you will wear out you laser and well f*** it up, costing a lot. And its not the best blu ray player because its not primarily a blu ray player

Thank you...well i live in europe and the headset alone is 50 euro's and if you buy it with the game socom you pay 65 euro's but i have a store where i get discounts because i'm a regular customer and i was able to get discount and bought the socom game and headset for 55 euro's
