  • Stop hating Tea Party people, get a life

  • There is so much stupidity going on here...ugh. You don't execute your civic duty to vote, or even "pay attention" to presidential elections. And then you go and march on the Capitol to protest for changes. Of course you have no idea what you want to change or how to do it.

She is the epitome of a rebel without a cause, and ignorant people like her was why the founding fathers feared direct democracy.

  • tea baggers change there name it was kkk clan

  • I love how this woman has to help hand out talking points to help people explain their position

  • "Congressman" includes Senators.

  • No mention that Freedom Works is a front group for corporate interests. Amazing.

  • @Nicoleccsf

No mention that Freedom Works supports Freedom. Their cause is just. Obama and the Demoncrats are the evil thugs and corporate whores. Tea Party patriots support the people and fight for the good and the true.

  • Sad--this lady seems like a nice, peaceable person, yet she obviously has no clear ideas about what she's fighting so hard for. Hardly paid attention in 08? The Tea Party Bolsheviks are plainly ignorant, amateurish and hypocrites (remember, she's on Medicare!)

  • ROFL She lost all her money, so she LEFT HER JOB to protest more? Good life skills, there.

  • And they call the tea party extremists. You should be shot for voicing your opinion? Are you psycho? In case you didnt know in this country we have a constitution and it still MATTERS. you are a complete disgrace to this country. You are against what this country was founded on. Whether you are for or against this bill, EVERYONE has the right to voice their opinion. No matter what it may be. keggerous- READ THE CONSTITUTION

  • Sarah Paylin never saw any pork spending she would not take, she's the last person who should speak for the tea party, have you people ever researched this Ladies pork spending, Alaska is a welfare state they get more from the federal government then They pay in taxes.......

  • Wonderful Star hat at 4:08. Really makes us take you more seriously. Continue to protest and see how far it gets you.

  • Politics = Pro-Wrestling. They're on the same side folks...theirs. We can play pretend though. Why not, we're conditioned for it. We, well you not me, believe in "The Big IF" (Imaginary Friend).

  • The irony is the house market; big corporate upset, and the hell economy is based off of deregulation, bush tax cuts, and the failure at the most capitalist economic level that can't deal or foresee the abuse that the big business ceo's hold onto; this isn't the government fault-its the lack of government since Reaganomics.

  • "Do you need talking points about the bill"

    It speaks for itself.

  • I DO understand how "normal" these folks are. That's what worries me. Deluded and hysterical are the new "normal".

Just "DO", don't "pay attention." Brilliant!

  • i wish America had a stalinesque government. then ppl like this would be shoot on sight for even trying to protest with their dumb ass ideas . . . oh wait, they dont have any ideas they just call ppl communists and socialists without even knowing what those things are.

  • Wow, they hate Marxism and socialism so much......

  • They protest things that actually benefit them. So stupid. Why won't natural selection get rid of these morons?

  • Why one joins the Tea Party Movement: They never passed basic Macro Economics.

  • @ 1:55 "Many people got involved because it was not political. It was just to get out there and get your frustrations out. Holding a sign, and cheering, and saying the pledge of allegience."

Yup, that's what the tea party is about, pissing and moaning with no idea how to make things better. Pretending to be patriotic and bitching that some white wealthy person somewhere might have to make sacrifice.

  • @ 1:55 "Many people got involved because it was not political. It was just to get out there and get your frustrations out. Holding a sign, and cheering, and saying the pledge of allegience."

  • I feel so bad for these people, they are anger without direction or common sense. They are protesting because they got screwed over, but they are prostesting to protect the people who screwed them over. Health reform hurt them not at all but they protested it. The lack of financial reform is 100% what screwed them over and is going to AGAIN but they dont protest it. SO FUCKING STUPID.

  • Gah. I hate political acitivsts. Someone please nuke the fuck out of us, and hurry, I'm afraid we won't have much time before these retards overrun the country.

  • "Obamacare the audacity of marxism"? lol, americans really are stupid... Obamas health reform is a step towards socialism, which is faaaar from marxism and communism, hell it's like saying an orange transforming into an apple is the same as a pear.. lol

  • @Allish90 Yeah, these people like throwing around "Marxism," "Communism," "Socialism" whenever they need to say something about Obama. It's used as a scare tactic because Communism is considered evil in America. Sadly, these old, decrepit conservative extremists are so stupid they don't even know what any of it means. I saw a banner of Obama dressed like Hitler with a swastika on his right arm and right next to that guy was another banner with Obama in a Sovietesque workers portrait.

  • a "kinder, gentler" KKK.

  • @deliciousmorton

The Democratic party was the party of the KKK and the modern Democratic party is still the modern-day KKK. It is the left that teaches hatred and promotes slavery.

All freedom comes from the right. All love and justice comes from the right. The Tea Parties are the champions of the good and the true.

  • do any of these people know the true purpose of the tea party and if they hate the president then just leave the country and go somewhere else.

  • 3:55 - "I just do, I don't pay attention." That describes these Teabagging simpletons very well.

  • And here I thought it was because they were racists.

  • @HConstantine

And I was right. She criticizes Obama for neglecting his senatorial duties to campaign, but not McCain.

  • 'Dick army'.

Oh we knew about trolling centuries ago.

  • The saddest part to me is that she's doing this while living on her life savings and, no matter how this turns out, when its over she will have nothing left. This is a massive movement brought together not because of tyranny or opression, but through brainwashing from politicians to meet their own agenda...

  • @OnyxSparrow that is so true of these people they really do need to think for themselves

  • @OnyxSparrow

All brainwashing comes from the left. The Tea Party people are fighting for the truth. They are honorable indeed. They are saving America from the tyrants and brainwashers of the left.

  • @herbs814 ALL brainwashing comes from the left? Really?? I don't care where a person's political views align themselves, isn't that just a tiny bit extreme?

  • Dick (appropriate name) is right - they're all normal people, meaning they're uninformed idiots that only care about their own interests and ignore the services their "socialist" government already gives them.

  • @UnreasonableSanity you could say that democracy does take some from socalism but not a lot

  • Hmm, they don't seem to be really destitute enough to be complaining. Where do they get the money to finance all this activism? I wonder if they would be able to do it if that "big government" program medicare didn't pay for their hospital bills. Sorry, that didn't change my already low opinion of the Tea Partiers one iota.

  • The Tea Baggers are a revolting lot, indeed.

  • @TheAmazingAtheist

The Tea Party people are honorable patriots. The hateful morons that use smears like "teabaggers" are disgusting ignorant fools.

  • What answers does the tea party have for the problems that they are protesting? ??????????? Do they have any at all or are they just do not like other peoples ideas?

  • people join the tea party because they love america, and people join the democrats because they love the terrorists.

  • party-ism is wrong in general, it forces countries to have a far left and a far right, for people to compromise on who they vote for (its basically impossible to vote pro-choice and conservative and vice versa). I think that the ideal republic requires small tests for voters and has no parties, only independents.

  • more like a teabag party

  • The nightmair speeks: Ok people need the freaking chill makes a tea part is what made this country and started a war .You won't live long with out a job.. Well heck get a life and worry about your self.

  • Comment removed

  • Triggers!

These mind controlled ones have been triggered to join

in Palin revolutionary type/End Times programs

  • Why did they join?

Because they are ignorant, fat, dumb.... stereotypically stupid americans.

  • she is saying she is only getting involved now that she is suffering before when people suffered she did not do anything but now she is.........

sadly we are about reaction instead of prevention on everything. Also these people need to be educated that they are all engaging in socialism and benefit from socialism.

  • N Y times typical progressive garbage ! ENOUGH SAID ! n y t is way in the toilet & sinking fast ! they are just a wanna be now ! would not take that garbage if the sent it free !

  • @crownv80 you are a fuck head

  • Dick Armey is laughing stock.

  • These people are aging Baby Boomers who have been retired, willingly become robots for a Republican Party that so embaressed itself that it had to change it's name to "Tea Party," who have NO CLUE what is going on politically in the modern age. They know nothing about it, and so have to go on Talking Points handed to them by other republican Boomer robots.

What they DO know is that they hate having a black guy in the white house, and that gay people bother their new-found religiousity. Have fun.

  • i love her gloves! i have the same kind<3

  • Worth less then you owe, Diane? So you borrowed a pile after it went up in price? What did you do with the money Diane? New pick up truck?

So you never voted before but you know you don't want some black guy as a president? I have no idea what she wants.... to cut her social security and Medicare?

  • This profile illustrates that perhaps Tea Party protesters lack an understanding of the issues ("I don't pay attention, I just do"). Mrs. Reimer was unaware if President Obama was previously a Senator or a Congressman. Statements like these diminish the movement's credibility. She also ignores the principle of the permanent campaign- it's no surprise that President Obama spent lots of time campaigning before the election, seeing as he was running for the Presidency, the ultimate election.

  • haters!

  • ppl like the national guard = normal??? Told to you by a guy that wears a cowboy hat and his name is Dick Army... Sad story...

  • The "Tea Party" rose up after Obama won. I don't think they expected a black man to win. Their racists upbringing sparked something in them to believe Obama is "bad", even if facts prove false.

Where were they when GW BUSH for 8 years robbed them of their rights, supported corporate fraud (failure to regulate Wall St.) and lying us into a costly war, where VP Cheney smirked as his old company Halliburton got BILLIONS of our tax $ to "rebuild Iraq"?

Nothing, cuz simple words made them happy.

  • "I don't pay attention, I just do." Sounds like Sarah Palin

  • these americans look really intelligent to the world..............

  • Ughh! Nothing is more disgusting than politically naive people acting against their own interests.

"I haven't thought about it but now I'm thinking about it..."

After all this time and effort spent on political rallies, it took a NY Times reporter asking her a simple, straight up question for her to finally think about her own position on healthcare? Seriously?

  • sad. protesting against "socialism" when they benefit from social programs- unemployment, medicare, and social security.

they don't "know" the issues, they know the talking points.

  • Please go back to work , and occupy yourselves in productive political participation (ie. voting) . Going rogue and assuring the government is run on Marxist fundamentals?Common Lady! Tea Party political activism : Buying Sarah Palin books. I wonder how far that's going to get this political interest group.

  • It's 8 years of that Fing Bush and his people that put us in a tail spin. Take your money out of the bank and eat cat food because you deserve it!!!!!!! Nothing better than a angry white man being rudely awaken by his stupid voting record. Keep praying because it is the answer and stamp out abortion because this is what you nuckle heads are only concerned about.

  • collectivists think theyre doing some good bless em

  • These videos should focus more on the ignorance of these people, and how they are acting against their own interests.

  • @WorldMan1975 how does that help us to understand the actual people behind it, if all we focus on is their ignorance and not there humanity. I already know how ignorant their points are, so learning of how "real" they are kind of puts things into perspective. At least that is how I see it.

  • @kikimo007: I think the bigger issue is understanding what they represent as a dangerous or potentially dangerous right wing political movement.

  • @WorldMan1975 Why do you know what's better for them then they do?

  • @Max20854 : What are you talking about? My statement was not about what is "better" for them. I was talking about describing their actions in a particular kind of lens. They ARE ignorant and acting against their own interests. This can be shown by comparing what they stand for/believe to actual federal policies/practices.

  • She said, "It's amazing to see the American people coming together ... ". I think she meant, "It's amazing to see a few very angry, misguided White Americans coming together ..."

  • Why one joins the Tea Part Movement: they are politically ill-informed.

  • @13pizzabagels I would be willing to bet that you yourself have not read the entire bill...all 2000 and some odd pages of it. That, in turn, would make you yourself ill informed.

  • @13pizzabagels which is quite a paradox if they're trying to get more involved in politics...

  • wir machen am 17.04 auch eine Demo

  • They way shes talking about it it sounds like modern day conservative hippies

  • She's protesting something she never thought about and willingly / gladly gets a benefit from...
