This profile illustrates that perhaps Tea Party protesters lack an understanding of the issues ("I don't pay attention, I just do"). Mrs. Reimer was unaware if President Obama was previously a Senator or a Congressman. Statements like these diminish the movement's credibility. She also ignores the principle of the permanent campaign- it's no surprise that President Obama spent lots of time campaigning before the election, seeing as he was running for the Presidency, the ultimate election.
