  • Also could be done with piano + bass as accompaniment. Either way, nice job!

  • I think you did a great job! Junior recital? Oustanding for a young man. Keep up the good work.

  • Sounds very pleasing to me , nice combo ...: )

  • you gotta swing it man. put sass in those licks! a straight horn wouldve been better (more authentic jazz sound)

  • yep. my playing has changed a lot since then. I had just purchased that horn and had no straight horn yet. If i attempt to play it again i will definately use my small bore horn.

  • @computer1818 what do you mean by a straight horn? Cuz i'm thinking of maybe majoring in trombone

  • @ssbblists a straight horn doesn't have the f attachment (a.k.a. a trigger) on it.

  • Man I have my trombone with large corpus and i can get a jazz sound from it... :)

  • is that last note a super g? that's what my tuner is registering it as :L

  • its supposed to be a high F. It may be a little out of tune, but its not a g.

  • ah ok, that's impressive stuff!!

  • Nice job!

  • Nice job. Needs a bit of vibrato though... don't think you need the F attachment for this piece...

  • thanks. the f attachment is not needed.

  • Yeah.. Probably would've been better if the piano and set were on par. Trombone sounds great, minus a few mess ups. Awesome job. I think this solo sounds best with an ensemble behind it though.

  • Yeah, brilliant brass band arrangement of it.

  • haha the drums and the piano are not locked in at all

  • disagree

  • Great rendition
