I cannot agree more, although I think Megamind spoiled me.. with its witty humor and non potty jokes then watching despicable me was like going from toy story to cars. When those kids showed up i was hoping for Megamind to pop up and dehydrate them all. They were just quite annoying.. I mean there's only so much cuteness one can pack into a movie. Minion was utterly adorable and not trying to be so on purpose. Even with the row of sharp teeth.

I agree Megamind was the standard dreamworks animation film minus some of the great humor they usualy bring it wasn't as funny, but the animation is the best ive seen ina while. And its almost self-aware how little they spent on the Side kick dispute they do with EVERYOTHER DREAMWORKS ANIMATED FILM

Megamind had a thousand times better writing, and Will Ferrel. That automatically makes it better than the SHIT that was Despicable Me. I would love to watch more co-op reviews like this one, too! :)

I loved this movie, I went with my nephews and I absolutely loved it. It was very funny and had a good twist on the usual super hero vs. super villain kids movies. I'm gonna see it again!

I like the Schmoes collabs ok but it doesn't feel like a conversation, just two reviews with similar talking points edited together. You guys should hit up the skype and have a proper 3-man review!

I personally didn't feel Megamind had nearly the heart Despicable Me did. Megamind also has WAY too many logical hiccups. Just because a movie is a cartoon doesn't mean it gets to be lazy with it's writing. Maybe it's a Dreamworks thing.
