I am skinny and to see that she was like that makes me feel better. I have been made fun of all of the time for how I look. I now get it because I'm 20 that people just get jealous or are just so used to seeing over weight people that when someone is thin they think something is wrong. I can't change how I look I can't gain weight. I hate bigger people that complain that they are big. THEY CAN CHANGE HOW THEY LOOK! It is sooooo much harder for us to gain weight!

They argue because No one can believe today in 2009 that someone can be naturally thin because most of America is overweight and out of shape. I know because I get called anorexic and bulimic because I am naturally thin. I never had an eating disorder.
to bennyandoliv. i totally sympathize (sp?) with you. people (well, people that don't know me personally) think i have an eating disorder too, but i've always been naturally very skinny. like you, i've never had an eating disorder & agree that people simply can't believe that some people are just naturally thin, such as Twiggy, & can be that way without starving themselves or throwing up.
also, for me, it's been very frustrating having to defend myself all the time. even when i was a model myself, comments & dirty looks about my weight actually got worse for me. i guess cuz people assumed i had to have an eating disorder to model. not so! if someone commented about my weight once or twice, it wouldn't be bother me so much, but it happens at lot. sorry to hear you go through this too but you're not alone, even tho i know it feels very alone & alienating. i understand how you feel

you might want to reprioritise who you call friends if you've been put through the wringer for your weight. i know exactly how you feel, by the way, as i too am a svelte person, but my friends would never hurt me for something i can't change.

Someone should go onto Google's image search and type 'Twiggy' because I noticed something unusual in which I saw a photo of Twiggy from 1966 or '67 sitting down wearing a mini dress, and then another photo in which she is wearing a turtleneck sweatshirt with black jeans and men's style leather shoes as she looks at the camera with a smirk on her face. What's so unusual? Well, Twiggy is baring her legs in the first photo and is baring her arms on the other! Please check it out.
