I'm not a Hindu, nor do I worship the Ganges, or any other river. But the persons making insulting comments should also take a look at themselves, and the 'shit' that they hold dear and worship - such as shopping at the 'mall', eating junk food all day, or mindlessly playing violent video games. Yes, the Ganges is polluted; but that Hindus still bathe in it, well that's just part of their religion. I saw a show where this doctor guy was visiting the ganges.. All these Indians were drinking the water, and his guide talked him into drinking some, he said It's safe! it's safe!.. Even though there were actual clumps of shit floating by, yet they all bathe and drink this water, they get immune to it though. This doctor ended up having a stomach virus growing inside him because of it.

We don't discriminate Hindus. We are just advising you not to worship the shit that floats in that river. The Ganges is the worlds dirtiest river. even bathing in it can give you infections. Yet the Hindus there are so backward and ignorant, they believe this River (which is no different from any other River on Earth) is for some stupid reason "holy". How ignorant? They are getting sick because of the shit they are putting into that river. Toilet water is cleaner than that!
