Basically, Flan is immensely powerful. Her sister locked her in the SDM's basement to prevent her from destroying Gensokyo (whether she wanted to lock Flan up is undecided, canon or otherwise). To this day, Flan, who is 495 years old, rarely gets any visitors, and is only a few years younger than her sister, who is 500. I feel sorry for Flandre, but when you see her spellcards and attacks, you kind of wish she'd stayed in her basement and you'd never gone there.

Great gameplay! One thing I would want do differently (if I ever get to that stage) is at 4:11, not going to side and use bomb, but flying quickly on the other side of screen before 3th shot. That should be possible right? It would save one use of bomb (I hope). :) btw, how did you got 3 bombs when you lost your second last life? Is that what happens on Normal mode?

@Matmax14 After trying it I realised it's easier than it looks, though I still tend to usually screw up halfway through it. The only other Remilia spellcard I haven't captured on normal is Red Magic, which is surprising since I have captured very few of Patchouli's spellcards

Well, some attacks fail like the knifes thing, but with spellcards like scarlet shoot (Is really hard NOT get trapped, not even talk about being able of attack remilia) or Red magic make her a fearsome boss (Red magic is a really random spellcard, and scarlet gensokyo is just randomness rape party) S:

Lunatic is another story (Young Demon Lord, Scarlet Meister/Gensokyo...)

Btw, the blue/red knifes nonspell is there to catch you off-guard if you go to the PoC. Old trick.

roflmao, this is neat... btw, learn to use bombs smartly o.< they will always save your life from certain bullet dead (could not unsee how you died twice... the last one was inavoidable... no bombs left)

@wisefelipe yup... your character is smaller than you think... you see how you die only if the bullet hit reimu's head, or marisa's hat? look closely when you avoiding, forget about the enemies and concentrate on your character, your bullets will kill them anyway sooner or later, when you in the wrong place and a barrage of bullets comes your way and you see no empty places then use the bomb to save your life and concentrate the blast on the boss at hand or any enemy, i never look at the boss :p

I had that problem too. I'm guessing that it happens if the game starts and you have it minimized while it's loading (which was the case for me), so tedious as it may be, stay on WinRAR and wait for it to load, and then press Z the moment you see the title screen.

@thevidtestacc If you downloaded the game, there should be a configuration app. Try inserting which buttons you want to perform what actions. That might help, if not, just re download the game and see if that works

I have people ask me that question many times and I tell them the point is to keep shooting at the enemy while dodging all those projectiles. If you haven't heard of a "Bullet Hell" game then I will tell you that the genre name is very accurate (heck Danmaku (Bullet Curtain in Japanese) is the often mentioned rule in the games, maybe not this one, but in most of them.) But of all the games I have played, its these kind of games that actually keep me hooked. My greatest challenge ever

Gah, I ALMOST 1 CC'd it three times today.

Once I only had one life... got owned by red magic. The next time I had three lives with three bombs at the start. I lost all three of my bombs by a screw up at the start. Then I got owned with only a bit of damage on her with Red Magic.

Finally, last time, two lives at start, no lives near the end, she had only a few inches of health left... and I ran into intersecting balls. Argh...
