all the elements found in these compounds can be found in bleach, mountain dew(preservatives), and hydrogen peroxide. all u need to do is cause a chemical reaction that causes the electrons to jump levels in the electron shell. causing the dye to become excited by the electron jumps. so really u can do it with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide and mountain dew acting as the dye. u can also do this type of reaction with bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and matches(sulfur) acting as the dye.
