@canto1408 okay thank you for the clarification. I just finished the drawing of the three and noticed the short reference to RF near the end so I believe fully that he will play a big part in the series
@iiams0504 It's something that's actually revealed later on in the series, I forgot to say that in the review, I have to say this is not one of my better reviews.
I like staphen king, but I do think that the first dark tower book is boring. I liked the green mile, myself, because it was easy to read and reminded me of john steinvbecks depression era novel of mice and men. I do hope the dark tower picks up and becomes more exiting in book 2.
@AEF091 Second book in the dark tower series The Drawing of the Three, is much better. I do like the first book, but I can understand why some people might not like it. The Drawing of the Three is really where the series picks up, I had a review up for The Drawing of the Three as well. I also read the third and forth dark tower books, The Waste Lands and Wizard and Glass. I have not yet gotta around to reviewing those books yet, but I will say that Wizard and Glass is my favorite in the series.
Excellent review man! It is an interesting series and the tone of the writing loosens up a bit from here on. King plans on writing a final book soon to be set between the fourth and fifth volumes. Also linked to this world is Black House (a sequel to The Talisman) as it features the Crimson King and an evil house which is a portal to another dimension. Although King has loosely tied much of his work together, i wouldn't bother too much about the order you read them (apart from Dark Tower series)

@canto1408 It seems like the gunslinger has a bunch of unclear details. That's why it has been really hard for me to read!

I don't think it was a book review. For me it was a abstract of the plot. I didn't like it.
