Well, by now I have seen many other products like this one, so now it isn't new, I did notice this vid has been up for almost 2 years. If it will take months to get used to, then I guess I could forget about using it for the games I have at the time of purchase. Why is it called "neural" when it's activated by facial muscle movement? Call back when I can type letters with the device, now that is something I haven't seen that would be useful.

The NIA is the most idiotic thing I've seen. So basically you are moving your eyes, eye brows etc instead of pressing buttons on the keyboard, I've used the keyboard for the last 10 years, why would I want to switch to moving my eye brows up and down to move forward and backward instead of pressing W or S.

CoD4 dont allow gamepads, BUT when you use software to MAP KEYS like Xpadder then you dont really have to reply on a game letting you, i use my xbox controller for CSS and CoD all the time thanks to Xpadder....., and yes this does work on CoD4, CSS, and Battlefield, seen it at a lan party i went to over the weekend, now im looking to purchase my own

ok...this is a little bit pointless really isn't it? more a folly for rich people. really, aren't you just better off getting a propperly calibrated mouse? i can mouve my finger a milimeter a damn site faster than I can clamp my jaw. If they actually responded to just the brainwaves, the impulses "move forward","shoot","crawl" etc then it may be worth it, cos it would be quicker. however im not giving up my mouse and keyboard just yet.

It CAN use brainwaves. It has three types of input: eye and muscle movements AND brain waves. I'm guessing it was not spoken of in this vid cause it takes lots of practice to get that under control.

But i agree, i'm not giving up my mouse and keyboard yet either, though mostly cause it doesn't work well enough yet. Too little control, too few inputs, etc. But it's definitely something to keep an eye out for...i find it very very likely that this WILL one day replace controls as we know them.

I have this. To tell you all the truth, it doesnt work as it should. I get tons of interference, I went to their site, and they havent had any new driver update, this was in 2008, and they still havent done nothing about it. Because the muscles in your face are a hell of a lot closer to your brain than your hand/fingers are. For the same reason a lot of pro's use a slow mouse in fps' so that they have to move their arm to aim a little more, thus increasing reaction times a little.

The mouse is simply for aiming all the rest is done with pretty much thought process.. Imagine playing some sort of stealth game.. well your brain is telling you to be carefull and stealthy and accurate. that is incorporated with feelings and nueral impulses your brain gives off.. Sounds confusing but pick one of these up, Have a good amount of patience, and then calibrate and play.. the more you practice just like an instrument the better you are.. This will destroy even Elite players online.
