sony struck gold when realizing nintendo generation was becoming mature and capitalizing the teen demographic. nintendo however, did likewise when portable gaming in cellphone becoming popular and capitalizing the indie/casual players by introducing wii. the lakebed of hardcore gamers are dried up and mostly those said people are already sticking with their fan company. it's all about marketting and exploiting the new and fishing it out dry.

people are always looking for wiis because stores only get about 5 a month. This is all because nintendo believes this will help sell more console if people hear: "did u know the wii is sold out again?". They will think that the console is really great if it is sold out all the time. This is the main reason why wiis are selling so well. I bought a wii, and wii sports got really boring and zelda sucked after i beat it. Im waiting for supersmashbros, my wii just collects dust now
