  • I LOVE " The alchemist" of course :)

One of favourite books is also " Siddharta" from Hermann Hesse! AND a book from the austrian solo climber and writer Thomas Bubendorfer! "STARTING POINT- NOW"! It is amazing!

I hope, I can make it to your sunday show!

  • Your video made my night. I hope you have the best weekend ever. Big hugs and tons of kisses for your cheeks. God bless you and your family.

  • I though of you and books you've talked about when I was in the bookstore last night. I couldn't remember the name of any author or books you've mention though... My Bad :-)

BTW, according to my subscriptions list, this channel hasn't made a video in 3 weeks. I had to go to an old video and then go direct to the channel to find the optimist videos for this week.

  • Welcome back! It's nice to see your face again, Lisa. I LOVE LOVE LOVE books, I can't imagine a life without them. I must have read 50 books last year, the difficult part for me would be to limit my review to ONE, aaaugh. I'm sure I would love that book, I'll have to check it out. Have a great weekend!

  • Wonderful video with nice helpful bits of inspiration in realizing your life.

thanks for that Lisa. Thought about you the other day and when I realize I am living my dream life. Sometimes I am so involved in trying that I didn't realize I am living my dream life.

Thanks for making us more aware of it.

    Peace and Love

    Alonzo

  • Alonzo! I love that you're living your dream! I think I am too. And you know what I love about that? I love that it was my CHOICE to live my dream and I make sacrifices and work hard everyday to make it mine and you know what else? I know that YOU know what I mean! You know how much hard work is connected to your dream. You've worked very hard to be where you are and I admire that. Thanks for stopping by!

  • awesome, ill have to get that book :) ^_^

  • Yes Vivi - GET IT! You'll be so glad you did. I have sooooo many books. It's crazy. I might include a copule of my other reviews in my Blog next week. The Alchemist is an easy read too.

  • Im so glad to see your video!!! We missed your smile the past few weeks :) Ive had that same thing happen when tryoig to watch in HD try watching the videos in normal quality i bet that will work

  • Thank you. It was only 2 weeks you didn't see my face. One week because I wanted to do something creative with poems and the other because I wanted to encourage my viewers to get involved. And thank you to YOU because you were the first (of three) to post a video response. You rock!! Thanks again for the rain video! I LOVEEE the rain! Thanks for the advise about the HD thing viewing videos. It was the weirdest thing. I was like, what is going on?!?! hehe Cool beans.

  • I should really check out some more inspiring books lol. how are you feeling Lisa?

  • Still sick. Been fighting this thing for the past couple of days. It's just lingering no matter how much sleep, fluids and Vit C I take! Oh well, all in good time. I'm sure you have some books that inspire you that you're not thinking of right now. Like, do you have any biographical books on Obama?

  • Well, now I have a stronger than usual go to a bookstore urge; I'll have to check out the Alchemist when I do.

  • Oh Michelle, you would love it. It's a great little story. I usually buy extra copies of it to give as gifts. When you read it, let me know.

  • Do you have your video player set to watch all videos in HD? I had a similar problem with videos not playing back and it saying they were no longer available.

Oh oh oh! I LOVE the Alchemist! I sooooo was going to send you a video response and send you MY favorite book! Guess what that is??? THE ALCHEMIST!!! :)

Sorry I never got around to sending a video response. :( I really was going to send one.

    Great job today! :)

  • The Alchemist lives inside of me. I often stop myself and think, "I'm working at the Crystal Shop right now....soon I will find my buried treasure!" It keeps me sane. I'm looking forward to seeing your video tomorrow!

  • My version is to create a life which ultimately will have been worth living, but I guess it's kinda the same, isn't it?

    Have a great weekend ya'll!!!!!

  • It IS the same thing! It will have been worth living because it was worth living while you were living. Wha? I'm confused. hehe Yes, it's the same thing! You have a great weekend as well.

  • Will definitely check out The Alchemist. Right now I'm read the Tao Te Ching along with Wayne Dyer's essays on each verse. Really helps you feel your connection to Source and nature and.. everything.

    Great video Lisa.

  • Wow thanks! I'm going to check that out. I like that Wayne Dyer did essays on each verse. That sounds fascinating. There's still time to post a video response. Yes?

  • I realized after I made my video that my books weren't so much "inspiring" as much as ones that either made me laugh or cry ... that's inspiring in a way, right?

Re: not available videos ... it's been doing it to me too intermittently and I'm like, "Hey, it's my video, I should know if I've made it unavailable". Right? Hope it's fixed soon :)

  • Ahhh (re: videos). I've now seen your video and I am looking forward to my next Friday Blog! I think the books you listed sound VERY inspiring. "Laughing" inspires the HELL out of ME. And feeling something deeply is incredibly inspiring. It's not about direct "self-help"... it's more about what touches you, enlightens you, informs you, entertains you, and what ultimately connects with you. Thanks Cazzie. I gotta head back over for your Q&As. I love them!
