  • Anyone knows the name of that song?

  • yeah its a myth that napoleon was short, he was actually 5 feet and 6.5 inches tall, taller than the average european of the time

  • I don't think any1 was in the car lol

  • The song was created just for the commercial. But if Plastic Bertrand aren't getting royalties for it, they're being ripped off...

  • The music is eerily similar to "The Damned"'s version of "JET BOY, JET GIRL". At least that is what it reminds me of.

  • ha, when i first saw this i couldn't stop laughing!! awesome commercial. and DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT SONG THIS IS?? i love it!!

  • What car is that?

  • I think it's a Panhard PL 17.

  • you can download the song at garmin's site. garmin (dot) com / gameday

  • does anyone know the song?

  • its obviously a reenactment of the battle, like the civil war reenactment. btw what is the name of the song

  • So what napoleon is from the future and hes driving back in time or something?

How did he get the car if he lived in the mid 19th century?

  • Great commercial with Napoleon driving to the battle of Waterloo. Short, sweet, and to the point. (great song also!)

  • The point is, napoleon is too short to see where he is driving. So he uses his Garmin.

    Great ad and catchy song!

  • Im pretty sure the real point of this ad is to suggest the reason napoleon always had his hand in his coat pocket in all of his portraits was because he was hiding a garmin.

  • yup yur exactly corretc~

  • In which case the ad is stupid and misinformed. The troll about Napoleon being short is a fantasy based on inability to convert between European and British units of length. Napoleon was a fair bit taller than the average of his day, and would be about average size for a European today (hence, also taller than most of the world's population).

  • What matters is the stereotype, and they are mocking that ;)

  • this commercial sucks

since when were cars arround in napoleon's time?

  • hey, isn't that the deli from Amelie?? At 0:10-0:12 sec...I think it is...

  • Mais oui!

    It's in montmatre

  • Probably much better than "Map-o-saurus" spot from last Superbowl.

  • Wow!

  • brilliant... somehow i missed this one
