This is BY FAR the best Bat in the Sun film. To be honest I didn't actually like any of their other films. But this one seems to have some potential the others were missing. Better directing, attention to detail. Batman is badass here. I would like if he'd be a little more theatrical and mysterioso too. The best example of what would be perfect is Batman from the Animated Series. You got the detective and badass side right.

People need to be reminded that it took decades before we could get a decent batman film(Nolan) and people need to learn to appraciate hard work! Let's be honest, none of the dialogue is either written well or delivered with any convincing emotion. But, this film has a great visual sense of style. Schnoeke does a lot of great stuff - give him a cigar, and a bigger budget to light it with. Just, you know, don't let him actually write anything that comes out of the character's mouths.

Better than Christopher Nolan's shit, but you still took it way too seriously. Needs a lot more comic relief to ease the tension. The Joker should be as funny as he is scary, and you shouldn't be afraid of a little bit of campiness. I'm not saying to pull a full on 60's Batman, here. the actor has a very kevin conroy sound, and the whole thing reminds me of the arkham asylum game.

this demonstrates that batman doesn't need to be as realistic as the nolan version to be very dark and very dramatic in film. both approaches are great.

@tuchesuavae in my humble opinion, and I may get hate for this, but I think if that happen due to the high quality/look it would be 'bat-overload' and it would numb and lighten the impact of the FILMS (WB) the reason smalville works is b/c its so emo/teen-young adult friendly and its technically not SUPERman, its teen-college years Clark, PRE-Metropolois and thereby does not take impact or excitement 4rm on-film projects, if anything it adds to the anticipation of them b/c you don't see Superman
