I'd like to know the name of the idiot that trained these women in the first place. None of them look like they've done a single proper bump in their lives. I guarantee that if Gran Apache had been training them, that sunset flip wouldn't have been nearly that crappy. Damn, this whole GLOW thing was a dumb idea. That and the headhunters have a disgustingly racist gimmick...
I would imagine the actress who played the headhunter just felt awful after that accident. Then to have made it appear on television she did it on purpose. I wonder if they did fire her?
I remember watching this when it first aired in Philly. This is my first time watching this on Youtube. And why did they keep replaying it? Susie and I are friends on facebook and she told that this really happened.
Yes what did happen to Mikka The HeadHunter?? They couldnt have fired her because of what happened to Susie it is expected that injurty will accure even if its just acting in a sport like this and it looked like Mikka wanted to help Susie after the arm was dislocated
Man, I remember watching this match as a child. That was the first time wrestling ever made me nauseous; I was haunted by that for a long time.
Looking back, I can't believe the TV stations actually aired that replay from the different camera angle that SHOWED the break. That was before the current "extreme video" trends.
Pero ese brazo ya venia como medio lesionado, se notaba una mancha ahi toda rara precisamente en el codo. En realidad la headhunter hasta el momento no hizo nada para que eso pasara, es más se veia como preocupada cuando eso pasó!
Oof, I still remember that match. I haven't seen it in over twenty years. One of the things I notice now that I didn't then because I was so young and I was shocked myself was that the headhunter was pretty obviously freaked out to. Also, the announcer did a great job selling the idea that the headhunter did it intentionally.
I know, I got a total kick out of David McClane's commentary, and how it didn't coincide with what actually transpired, lol! He claimed that Meena deliberately planted her foot near Susie's right hand, blah blah blah. It was evident that the headhunter wanted to assist Susie, then you see Frank D'Amato preventing her from doing so, I guess for the sake of the show's "reality". Nonetheless, what a horrible thing to have happened. And many thanks to you again, PRHotboy!
Classic match but horrible injury. I still get chills watching this match. I still wonder what ever happened to Mina the Headhunter after being replaced by Manna in Season Two.

It's clear Susie landed wrong thus dislocating her elbow, but of course that wouldn't have tied into the story all that well.
