  • Laundry is finish...

  • I never get tired of this one. If you re-do it, just go to someplace like up on Palos Verdes with the ocean behind you (shoot in the morning), wear the same clothes, and have the same kind of fun.

  • Great dancing!

I really respect you for it :), Especially that it shows a real culture to the "Western World" and opens up our eyes to what it means to be a joined society.

  • ohh thank you :]

unlike some youtube-ERRS .. they make negative comments..

its been a while since we've danced.. and yeeaah.

i want to put another hula video after my birthday & grad party :] hope you like my videos :]

  • You are an amazing talent! Honestly, I've gone to a performing arts saturday class since I was 4 and not once have we done something so cultural.

I watched hula dancers when I went to Orlando once and wow! I think Hawaii itself it another world in comparison to where I live. Your whole spirit is a sense of connection with the people you love and being a whole group as one!

Your whole spirit in this video too shows that you definately believe in ohana! :)

  • i might re-do this video .. for the whole song && mo' bettuh . :]

  • Luv it!!!. You girl in the brown pareu are so goddam HOTTTTTTTT!!

    Mahalo!

  • I went to the Aloha Festival in San Francisco last weekend. One group sang this, and, dammit, I was expecting BEEEEEP!

BTW, not enough hula at the festival. You shoulda gone up there.

  • I agree, I think the buzzer should be added in all who do this song. I like this version the best, not only they are so good, but so natural. The intermittent conversation, sometimes we can hear you singing along, and the laughter and giggles----all this just happened, -- so natural, informal and in the moment--all this makes this video so very special.

  • i might re-do ' I Miss You My Hawai'i '

so look out for my videos .. ;]

  • I certainly will watch for it. And I appreciate the notice about that, too.

  • I am glad you made this video. I always enjoy watching it. And, no----the buzzer did not mess up the moment, as you say. It just added an extra smile, even for the viewer.

  • thank you very much =]

  • i might re-do this number.. and video & make it mo' bettuh :]

  • If anyone can tell me how I can find this dance on a teaching video, I would really appreciate it. Greeting from Duluth, MN.

  • I'll be in Hawaii (Oahu) in the next couple of months - will you girls be putting on a show anywhere?

  • we're actually from CARSON CA.

  • Still my favorite version of this . . .

  • thank you. !

haven't been recording alot lately.. been busy.

but we still practice every now & then..

looking for a song that's nice to dance too.. =]

  • Check Jake Shimabukuro's soundtrack for "Hula Girls." There are several versions of the title song, each different enough that you may find one that you like.

I'd still like to see you redo this video, same clothing but better lighting, sound and background.

  • Thank you.

Well, I'll ask my sister or cousin, or might do a solo vid for this song/dance.

We've been busy with school & I play basketball

so it's hard. But be sure to always check. !

    :] thanks for the comments.

  • Juhnaynay - you are the best!

I would definitely love to see a DVD of your dances with those beautiful hawaiian music - in the beautiful hawaiian setting!!!

  • This one is meant for a group. One is cool, a group is incredible.

Who is who in this, anyhow?

  • Really Love watching your video - I wish to see you dance to the tune of Kaeli'i Reichel's "E O Mai". Thanks for sharing...

  • Oh i know one version, but i think it'll be wrong to use it because it was from another group i used to dance for... but maybe i might make a video for E O Mai.. just by myself though, hahaha.
