South Africa thanks those who helped in the struggle, but at the end of the day SA must work in it's best interests. Africa is chock full of problems. SA is Afriica's best deveolped nation and the only one that stands a chance to be (eventually) in the same league as EU nations. The problems of Africa can't be problems of SA. And they landed ostensibly for missionary activity to spread the Gospel/Christianity. Some white Europeans have been in Africa as long as Europeans have been in America. You can't save the world by allowing your own country to fall to pieces. I'm all for helping Zimbabwe or any other nation, but not at the expence of South Africans. Sorry, but the interests of SA must come first. South Africans need work. The addition of foreigners makes the lives of South Africans worse. @uel786 Taking it out on foreigners is the wrong thing to do when you should be holding your government accountable. Zimbabwe, Namibia, Tanzania, Malawi, and other African countries were safe havens for many freedom fighters during apartheid. These countries also lost some people during that time.

South Africa thanks those who helped in the struggle, but at the end of the day SA must work in it's best interests. Africa is chock full of problems. SA is Afriica's best deveolped nation and the only one that stands a chance to be (eventually) in the same league as EU nations. The problems of Africa can't be problems of SA. SA must concentrate on the uplifting of her own people. It gets a bit tiresone to continue hearing about the 'debt' owed to other African nations.
